Good morning, today I am participating in the national ‪#‎blackdayofsilence‬ which begins at noon today in honor and remembrance for those who have been killed. I’m very thankful to be alive and to be surrounded both virtually and physically by people who are working to make a difference in the world through their words, actions, works, and artistic expression. Today we go silent and have a chance to regroup and meditate on what might work to end injustice in the future and ease suffering in the present. It’s not a solution; it’s a continuum of change which can ultimately bend toward justice. In small amounts, I believe we can bring one another strength and and a measure of peace everyday while being mindful of the reality of inequality, despair and cruelty that threaten the beauty of life on earth. I invite you to join me if you like.
